Cookies and similar tools
Optional tools remain disabled when the website opens. You can accept, reject and change your choice at any time.
Necessary preference
Browser storage under findsomeplace-consent-v6 records separate choices for Analytics, Travelpayouts Drive and Stay22 maps, the version and the saved and expiry dates. The preference lasts 180 days and does not track browsing on other websites.
Google Analytics 4
If you consent to measurement, we load Google Analytics with the identifier configured for this installation. We measure page views, completed planner journeys and voluntary partner handoffs. We do not send free text, email addresses or phone numbers. Advertising signals and ad personalisation remain disabled. Analytics cookies are configured to last no more than 180 days.
Travelpayouts Drive and affiliate links
Comparisons and affiliate links remain available without optional tools. If you specifically consent to Travelpayouts Drive, we load the script, which may measure handoffs and show more relevant affiliate suggestions. If Drive is disabled, you are sent to the external website only when you choose a service; the partner’s notices and preferences apply on that website.
Administration area
The restricted editorial area uses technical tools required for authentication and security. They are not used for advertising and do not apply to visitors who only use the public website.
Tools we do not use
We do not enable Google advertising signals, ad personalisation, social pixels or other advertising tools. Google Analytics and Travelpayouts Drive remain absent until you give the relevant consent. Fonts are served from the website’s own domain.
Changing your choice
Open Manage privacy and cookies in the footer. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads without the optional script. You can also clear site data from your browser settings.
Stay22
Accommodation links go through Stay22 only when you choose to open them. They pass the destination and, where supplied, dates and guest numbers to prepare the search. Booking is completed on the named provider’s website. When you open the map, Stay22 receives the displayed location and, where supplied, dates and guest numbers for the search. The external Stay22 map receives technical browser data and may use cookies to measure visits and bookings. It loads only with your consent, which you can withdraw in privacy preferences.
